About Templeberg Villa:
Templeberg Villa is a resort in Galle, Sri Lanka run by Christopher Shields, Brent Carey and Karin Jansson. Templeberg Villa’s history dates back to 1864, when the property was established as an Old Dutch Colonial Merchant’s house on a five acre coconut plantation. The property has been lovingly restored in a style befitting that of a colonial manor house, and is furnished with period antiques. The villa was first opened to guests in 2012, and will soon be enhanced with the construction of innovative shipping container accommodation and a dedicated artist space designed by award winning Sri Lankan architect Damith Premathilake.
